So the Hallowe’en party went really well and we raised 250 euros which is fantastic. Newsletters will be up very soon and now you can renew your adoption on the website. Just go to the adopt a donkey page and scroll down to the bottom, click subscribe and you can rest safe in the knowledge that you’re supporting your donkey for another year. Once we’ve received your subscription we’ll email you for details. Thanks!

The Nerja Donkey Sanctuary has been featured in the September issue of A Place in the Sun magazine on sale now in the UK. The article covers what it is like being a volunteer at the sanctuary and a bit about what we do here in Nerja. It also explains how much the sanctuary costs to run especially when a sick or injured donkey is brought in and lets a new audience know about the charity and how they can help by visiting our website and adopting a donkey online. We hope this publicity will bring the donkeys some much needed funds.
